Yong ZHOU

Yong Zhou is a professional with extensive experience in telecommunications engineering, having held key positions in various companies. At Covage, from January 2017 to December 2021, Yong served as the Transmission Engineering Referent, managing RFI/RFP/POC for the Backbone NG 200G and ensuring quality and design for the WDM backbone. Following that, Yong worked at Huawei Technologies as the Technical Director for the Orange WDM Backbone project and later as a Transmission Network Engineer. Presently, Yong is a Systems Engineer at Infinera since December 2021 and has taken on the role of Pre-Sales Engineer at Nokia since April 2025. Prior to these roles, Yong was a Network Engineer at ALTEN and completed a consultancy project at Conseil Général de l'Orne. Yong's academic background includes an engineering degree in Telecommunications from Institut national des Télécommunications and preparatory classes at Lycée Louis le Grand.
