NOM is a recipe app that gives users the opportunity to become involved in a community for all things good about food. It aims to centralise recipes from professional chefs, influencers and open sources.

The user, inputs what they’re trying to make, the ingredients they have in the cupboard and NOM will return a shopping list of additional ingredients or intuitively provide substitutes.

It’ll give step by step cooking instructions to produce the culinary masterpieces that you see all over social media.

It integrates with mainstream social medias to ensure the maximum number of users and influencers can utilise its features without needing to change their ingrained social media habits. Importantly give people the opportunity to upload their own recipes using an integrated AI transcription tool.

All of this creates a great app, but the data insights it generates is where the genius happens - from user habits, seasonal & temporary trends even down to ingredient usage to the nearest gram. It aims to improve the food industry from production, into manufacturing right through to purchasing and consumption.
We aim to reduce food waste by offering a tailored experience, insights on how to better use ingredients available in your cupboards and provide more insightful data to the food industry. By doing so, there is the added benefit of reducing the consumer food spend – a critical consideration in today’s economic climate.
