Dr Nabil Nada

Dr. Nabil Nada is an accomplished professional in the field of desalination and technical support, currently serving as the General Manager at NOMAC since 2011, overseeing the production of 2.4 million cubic meters of desalinated water per day and 11,000 MW of power from five super large plants. Previously, they held several prominent roles, including General Manager of Engineering Department at SWCC from 1978 to 2009, where they were responsible for the specification, bidding, commissioning, and operation of desalination and power plants across the Kingdom. Dr. Nada also served as a Senior Consultant at KAUST from 2011 to 2013, focusing on scientific advice and research to enhance desalination plant performance. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ain Shams University, followed by a Master of Engineering and a PhD in Desalination from the University of Glasgow, both with distinctions.
