Chief Economist at Nomad

Danilo Igliori has a diverse work experience in economics and academia. Danilo is currently serving as the Chief Economist at Nomad since July 2023. Before that, they held the position of VP Chief Economist at OLX Brasil from November 2020 to December 2022. Danilo has also worked as a Professor Doutor at the University of Sao Paulo since May 2007. Additionally, they have held various roles at different organizations, including being an Associate at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge, a Fellow at the Regional Studies Association, and a Co-founder and Head at DataZAP. Danilo also worked as an Economist at BTG Pactual. Prior to that, they undertook roles such as the Adam Smith Fellow in Political Economy at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and as an Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge.

Danilo Igliori has a diverse and extensive education history. Danilo started their academic journey in 1988 by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Danilo completed this program in 1991.

In 1993, Igliori chose to further enhance their knowledge and skills by completing a specialization in Business Management at Fundação Dom Cabral. This program provided him with a focused understanding of various aspects of business management.

Following this, they continued their studies at Cambridge and obtained a PhD in Applied Economics, completing this program in 2005.
