Raquel Calado

Raquel Calado has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Raquel is currently working as a Software Engineering Coordinator at Nomad since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nomad from February 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Nomad, Raquel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Mesa Mobile Thinking from March 2020 to February 2022.

Raquel also has experience as a Full-stack Developer at Post2B | The Influencer House from October 2019 to February 2020, and as a Software Engineer at AO3 Tecnologia from June 2019 to October 2019.

Earlier in their career, Raquel worked as a Research Scientist at Kurier from August 2017 to July 2019.

Raquel Calado obtained their Mestrado em Engenharia da Computação (Master's degree in Computer Engineering) specializing in Artificial Intelligence from Universidade de Pernambuco. Raquel pursued this degree from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Sistemas de Informação (Information Systems) from the same university, studying from 2012 to 2016. Raquel has also obtained various certifications, including Swift Code Challenges and iOS 15 Development Essential Training from LinkedIn in May 2022. Additionally, they completed courses such as Building Modern Projects with React and AWS and React: Creating Full-Stack Apps from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Other certifications include serverless and microservice development, Amazon Web Services Lambda, and Flutter development. In March 2018, they completed The Data Scientists Toolbox from Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Raquel has also completed certifications in ITIL governance, Introduction to Computer Networks, Advanced Excel Quantitative Methods, and Information Security from Fundação Bradesco and Universidade de Pernambuco.
