Nicolas Ayache

Nicolas Ayache is an accomplished engineering manager and researcher with extensive experience in formal methods and software verification. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Nomadic Labs since September 2021, Nicolas oversees the Etherlink core R&D projects, leading a team of 17 engineers. Previously, Nicolas held the role of R&D Engineer and project manager at Clearsy from January 2017 to September 2021, and contributed to the development of safety-critical railway systems. Teaching experience spans multiple institutions, including extensive courses on formal verification and software engineering at ESIEE and UPEC from 2006 to 2021. With a doctoral degree in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University, Nicolas has also conducted postdoctoral research and holds a Master’s and a Licence in the same field.
