NOMADIC THREAD SOCIETY is a Celebration of:
Global Cultural Heritage
Slow, Considered Design
Sustainability and Ethical Commerce
Independent, Niche Business
Since 2009

Hello! It’s Nicole, founder of NTS. Welcome.
For years I’ve been focused on the most contemporary, fairly-made and traded, fine artisan work. With a keen eye for the “it” things, I’ve always been a supporter of nimble, indie brands.
SLOW DESIGN & CULTURE are what I’m cultivating these days.
Nomadic Thread Society is pleased to facilitate Conscious Design & Business Immersions, purpose driven professional retreats supplying active educations in the business of sustainability and conscious lifestyle. I invite you to step from your boardrooms and company HQ’s into the fields and studios where the sustainability revolution is rooted.
Immersions are co-hosted by a roster of inspiring, ethical, independent entrepreneurs, designers, artisans, and makers, and experts. Lived practices and philosophies are witnessed and participated in first hand at workshops, farms, and businesses across the island. All this occurs during 6 day group stays in historic fincas.
WHO ARE THESE IMMERSIONS FOR ?
Founders, designers, advertising and marketing executives, culture makers, influencers, students, sustainability and innovation teams, angel investors, CEO’s, and creative souls who wish to gain first hand knowledge of sustainable design, enterprise, and living.
ACTIONABLE TAKE AWAYS
• Fluency in the language of sustainability
• Training in design and solutions thinking, where all parts
of varied small operations are in view - they’re not in white papers or happening in factories and subsidiaries in other countries.
• First hand knowledge of materials and labor practices.
