Robert Blume is a seasoned professional in business development and defense growth with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving in a leadership role in Defense Growth at Nominal since October 2025, Robert previously held senior positions at Shield AI, where roles included Senior Director and Director of Business Development from September 2020 to October 2025. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Senior Associate and Private Equity Summer Associate at Ninth Street Capital Partners between June 2019 and September 2020, and from May 2018 to August 2018, respectively. Robert’s career commenced with the US Navy as a Training Officer and Weapons Officer from June 2013 to August 2017, and earlier experience includes a Finance Internship at Microchip Technology Inc. in the summer of 2012.
