Jonny Arnold

Jonny Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jonny began their career at the University of Durham as a Research Associate in 2010. Jonny then moved on to Tessella, where they worked as an Analyst Programmer from 2011 to 2014. Following this, Jonny joined Reevoo as a Ruby Developer from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Jonny became a Product Engineer at Trussle (now better.co.uk), a company specializing in providing free online mortgage broking services in the UK. During their time at Trussle, Jonny took on various roles, including brief stints as a designer and a recruiter, and played a significant role in the growth of the company. Jonny primarily focused on building software in TypeScript and fostering a fun and productive culture within the Product Development team.

Most recently, Jonny joined Nomio in 2019 and currently holds the position of Head Of Engineering.

Jonny Arnold's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics, which they obtained from Durham University between 2007 and 2011. Aside from their formal education, they have also acquired several certifications, such as JLPT N5 in August 2018, Game Theory from Coursera in December 2014, Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2013, M865 - Project Management from The Open University in November 2013, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in May 2013.
