Tanmay Patel

Tanmay Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting from their most recent position, they currently hold the role of Software Engineering Lead at Nomo Fintech, a position they took on in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hyke from 2019 to 2023, where they held multiple roles. Tanmay started as a Technical Lead in Web Front-end and then progressed to become an Engineering Manager for Web & Customer Experience. During their time at Hyke, Tanmay led a cross-functional tech team responsible for improving the supplier experience, successfully launching a new app and reducing the time to update inventory. Tanmay was also involved in initiatives to manage products sold on the platform.

Before joining Hyke, Tanmay worked as a Senior Web Developer at SellAnyCar.com from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they played a key part in migrating the core platform to a Cloud-Native Microservice Architecture and modernizing the front-end architecture. Tanmay also created a serverless web API using AWS Lambda with Node.js.

Tanmay'swork experience also includes a tenure at Tata Consultancy Services, where they held the positions of Technical Lead and On-site Team Lead at GE Digital from 2013 to 2018. Tanmay's contributions during this time included leading technical teams and being responsible for various projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hurix Systems from 2010 to 2013 and as a Software Engineer at Avinashi Systems Pvt Ltd. from 2008 to 2010.

Tanmay Patel attended I. N. Tekrawala High School from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their Higher Secondary Education with a focus on Science. Afterward, from 2003 to 2008, they enrolled at C. K. Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Tanmay Patel earned the Tech Career Skills: Moving from Developer to Engineering Manager certification from LinkedIn in January 2023.
