Alex Knox

Alex Knox is a Data Protection & Governance Manager (Group DPO) at Nomupay, with a comprehensive background in data protection, information governance, and privacy laws across multiple jurisdictions. Previously, Alex held key positions including Information Governance Manager at Virgin Care Limited and Senior Information Access Officer at the City of London Police. Alex has extensive experience in the health and social care sectors, as well as knowledge gained from working with local authorities, charities, and within the police force. Alex is well-versed in GDPR compliance, data privacy best practices, policy writing, and providing training on data subject rights, and has been involved in presenting at conferences such as PrivSec North 2023. Alex studied Business Studies at the University of Derby and has additional training in Business Administration and Management.
