Suresh Pathmanathan is currently the Managing Director and Head of Compliance for Asia at Nomura, a role they began in 2022. Previously, they held various senior positions in compliance at Deutsche Bank and Barclays, including APAC Head of Compliance Risk & Control and Director of Compliance Risk Review, respectively. Suresh also contributed to regulatory policy development at the Securities Commission Malaysia from 1999 to 2004. They are pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at RMIT University.
