Johnathon Root

Johnathon Root is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in full-stack web development. Currently at Noom since August 2022, Johnathon has previously contributed to Rev.com from July 2016 to July 2022, where responsibilities included developing features for freelancers and customers using C#, SQL, Typescript, and React, as well as creating checkout workflows and web application tools. Johnathon's earlier roles include UROP Game Developer at the MIT Game Lab, where development of the game Sunny Side occurred alongside a tablet board game focused on ethical real estate development, and a QA Automation Engineer Intern at Opower, improving internal database verification tools. Johnathon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned in 2016.
