Tim Cassell

Tim Cassell has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 1987. Tim began their career with the Ohio Air National Guard as a Staff Sergeant, before transitioning to the consulting industry in 1993 with Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services as a Consultant, Management Consulting. Tim then moved to Accenture in 1995 as a Senior Manager, Management Consulting. In 2004, they joined PayPal as a Senior Manager, Site Operations and Senior Manager, Build and Release Engineering. In 2011, they moved to Workday as a Senior Manager, Security - Site Reliability Engineering. In 2018, they joined Kaizen Technology Partners as the AWS Practice Lead, where they were responsible for developing and delivering requirements for a new AWS cost optimization program. In 2021, they moved to nClouds as the Director of FinOps, and in 2022 they joined nOps.io as the Head of product | strategy.

Tim Cassell has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio University. Tim also holds three certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (obtained in March 2021), AWS Certified Security – Specialty (obtained in February 2021), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (obtained in January 2021).
