Sofia Gunnarsson

Sofia Gunnarsson is an accomplished environmental engineer with extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment, currently working as a contingency planning engineer at Norconsult Sverige since August 2025. Previously, Sofia served as a water and wastewater treatment engineer at Ramboll from June 2022 to June 2025. Sofia's background includes roles as a full-time substitute teacher for various age groups at Kungsbacka kommun and an impactful beach cleanup initiative with Ocean Crusaders. Additionally, Sofia coordinated projects at ElectriCITY Innovation aimed at promoting climate neutrality and served as a private tutor and salesperson in earlier roles. Sofia holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with a Master's degree from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
