John Magne Gitmark

John Magne Gitmark is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Since April 2020, John has served as a Senior Adviser at Norconsult AS, specializing in high accuracy wind measurements and wind power production estimates. Prior to this role, John worked at Teknotherm as an R&D Manager and Sales Engineer, where responsibilities included customer inquiries, quotations, and thermodynamic dimensioning. Earlier experiences include a position as Project Engineer, a Learning Assistant at NTNU, a Warehouse Employee at BAMA SSH, and a Certified Driver at ASKO. John holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from both the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and UNSW, and has additional education from Technische Universität Berlin and the University of Agder.
