Billy Alkan

Billy Alkan has a strong background in cloud implementation and infrastructure architecture. Billy is currently working as a Cloud Assessment Lead at Nordcloud, an IBM Company. Prior to this, they served as an Enterprise Portfolio Architect at Domestic & General, where they focused on producing secure and scalable solutions within a hybrid cloud environment. Billy also has experience as a Solutions Architect at Deloitte UK, where they designed analytics and reporting capabilities in line with NHS security standards. Additionally, they have worked as a Technical Architect at PRS for Music, a Senior Infrastructure Architect at Grosvenor, and a Worldwide Senior Infrastructure Manager at Sony Music Entertainment. Billy's expertise includes vendor selection, solution design, and technical planning for various projects. Billy has also served as a Technical Project Consultant for multiple companies, including Arthur J Gallagher, Global Marine Systems, Lloyds Register, CapGemini, VocaLink, and LloydsTSB.

Billy Alkan earned a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1994 to 1997. In addition, Billy has obtained certifications in ITIL Foundation Level from Learning Tree International, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 from Microsoft, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
