Eric Schonenberg

Eric Schonenberg is a skilled mechanical and electrical engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and product development across various industries. Currently employed at Wabtec Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer, Eric is responsible for the engineering of cylinder ultrasonic inspection systems. Previous roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Enfield Technologies, where custom pneumatic control valves were developed, and a temporary contract position at Eaton, providing continuity during a retirement transition. At Diba Industries, Eric led product projects from inception to delivery and supported after-sale activities, and at Trident, Eric addressed technical issues and promoted new products. Eric holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CT State Naugatuck Valley and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
