Arja Kekkonen

Arja Kekkonen is a dedicated risk management and compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Group Risk Governance at Nordea, where they lead a team focused on developing and implementing Group-wide risk management frameworks. With experience spanning roles such as Head of Regulatory Compliance Testing and Control Testing at Danske Bank, Arja has demonstrated expertise in compliance monitoring, control testing, and fostering a sound risk culture across organizations. Arja began their career at EY, contributing to internal audit services and risk management initiatives between 2007 and 2017. They hold a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University.
