Barry Lawrence is the Chief Business Risk Manager at Nordea, where they currently oversee risk and compliance. Previously, they held roles including Compliance Director at Julius Bär Private Bank and various positions at Merrill Lynch, including Risk and Control Officer and Regional Client Services Manager for the Middle East. Their extensive experience in financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance spans more than two decades across multiple institutions in Luxembourg and London. Barry holds an ICA Certificate in Conduct and is certified in the Compliance Risk Specialist (CCRS).
