Benoit Roger

Benoit Roger is an experienced professional in risk management and financial services, currently serving as Head of Risk Models Governance at Nordea since February 2023, where leadership involves governance of internal models and managing relationships with regulatory bodies. Benoit also holds a long-standing position as an Assistant Professor at École des Ponts ParisTech since 2005, teaching credit risk. Previous roles include Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Fidor Bank AG and Principal at ARES & CO, focusing on strategy and management consulting for financial institutions. Benoit's extensive background includes senior positions at Société Générale, where responsibilities spanned various aspects of risk management and financial strategy. Benoit co-founded CREDITDOMUS and has a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Finance from École normale supérieure de Lyon, complemented by further studies at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole.
