Charles Tye

Charles Tye has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as the Head of Data, AI and Integration Engineering at Nordea since February 1999. In this role, Charles leads platform engineering teams across various domains, including Databases, Big Data, Analytics, and Application Integration. Previous positions at Nordea include Head of Software Development for Business & Institutional Technology, Head of Core Technology for Trading Technology, and Head of Core Services and Risk IT within Wholesale Banking, each focusing on optimizing technology solutions for trading and risk processes. Earlier in the career at N M Rothschild & Sons Ltd, Charles held the position of Assistant Director, specializing in metals trading and liquidity management applications. Charles holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
