Daniel Golan

Daniel Golan is the Head of Group Credit Risk Projections and Provisioning, with over 15 years of leadership experience in credit risk, finance, and capital management. They lead the Group's efforts in credit risk projections, scenario analysis, and provisioning strategy for a portfolio exceeding EUR 350 billion. As a trusted partner to the CRO, CFO, and business leadership, Daniel integrates credit risk insights into financial performance and strategic decision-making. They previously held leadership roles at Barclays, including Director of the Head of Strategy & Analysis and Head of Portfolio Strategy Unit, and served on the Board of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers. Daniel also completed an Executive Programme at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and earned a First-Class Honours M.A. in International Relations and Management from the University of St Andrews.
