Grant Ward

Grant Ward has extensive experience in business development, consultancy, and management, beginning with a role as Director at Flexaire Foams from January 1988 to December 1996, overseeing the production of polyurethane foam. Ward founded FastLight Data Distribution (Cape) in January 1997, serving as the Managing Member of an internet service provider until November 1999. Subsequent positions include Business Development Manager at SAS Institute, Business Solutions Consultant at Bytes Technology Group, and Senior Sales Consultant at AST Group. Consulting Director at Asgard Business Consulting from September 2008 to August 2014 involved key projects in system customization and deployment, while a Senior Consultant role at IQ Business from August 2014 to June 2021 focused on business and data analysis, along with project leadership for the Barclays Africa AML solution. Currently, Ward serves as Chief IT Analyst for Financial Crime Prevention at Nordea, building upon a BSc degree from Stellenbosch University earned between 1982 and 1986.
