Rune Saether

Rune Saether is an experienced IT Business Manager at Nordea since April 2014, responsible for managing system and project portfolios for Chief of Staff units and Global Wealth Management in the Nordics. Previously held the position of Senior Project Manager, overseeing the optimization of Norwegian banking core systems and local datahall establishment for Nordea's new headquarters in Norway. Prior experience includes roles at IBM, where Rune served as Team Manager for Nordic Processor Project Managers and as Program Manager for the Nordea Transformation Program, as well as Section Head at DnB NOR Bank ASA, leading major IT integrations and managing significant project budgets. Rune's career began at TC Sistema as a consultant and includes a marketing management role at Syntax AS. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Information Technology Management from SDA Bocconi and a Bachelor in International Business from Oslo and Akershus University College.
