Sofia Bemnet

Sofia Bemnet is the Head of Core Banking Program at Nordea, bringing over 20 years of experience in core banking, large-scale transformations, and FinTech across the US, Australia, and Europe. Prior to this role, Sofia served as Managing Director at Accenture from 2001 to 2020 and as Chief Information Officer for a global non-profit organization from 2020 to 2024. Sofia’s expertise includes strategy assessment, business architecture design, and executing complex transformation programs. Currently, Sofia is pursuing an International MBA at both the Viena School of Economics and the Darla Moore School of Business.
