Vesa Jäppinen

Vesa Jäppinen is currently the Head of CICD Engineering at Nordea, where they lead multiple teams in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for the Core Banking program. With over 20 years of experience in IT management and people leadership, Vesa has spent the last 15 years focused on banking technology projects, successfully managing international teams and various stakeholders. Previously, they held roles at Tieto and TietoEnator, including Manager of R&D Services and Lead Project Manager, where they oversaw critical projects in mobile network technology and banking compliance. Vesa holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Business Law from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
