Nordic Energy Research is the Nordic institution for joint energy research and research-based policy development, under the Nordic Council of Ministers. 

We promote joint competence building and knowledge sharing through funding of collaborative energy research and analysis, researcher mobility, and networks, as well as by facilitating meeting places and intergovernmental energy cooperation that strengthen national initiatives.
