Darius Simanel

Darius Simanel is an experienced engineering manager currently at Nord Security since June 2018, overseeing operations for NordVPN, a leading VPN service with a user base of over 12 million. As a co-founder and system engineer at UAB Debesynas, Darius has focused on capacity planning, hypervisor management, and developing custom automation solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a Unix server automation engineer at Barclays, where Darius implemented automated upgrades and configuration testing, and as a system administrator at AB "Citadele" bankas, responsible for IT infrastructure monitoring and support. Darius has also held project management positions at Linxtelecom and system administrator roles at Alna Intelligence and Baltnetos komunikacijos. Darius holds a Professional Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Vilnius Business College.
