In 2005, Deividas started their career as a self-employed software and security engineer, where they self-taught programming and hacking. Deividas identified multiple websites vulnerable to attacks and eventually joined an image hosting provider as the lead developer.
From 2010 to 2011, Deividas worked as an IT assistant at Aalborg University, where they developed a web conferencing solution and managed a lab room for computer vision experiments.
In 2011, Deividas joined Marriott International as a bellman, gaining valuable experience in customer service.
Following that, Deividas held roles in various companies, including self-employment as a freelance software developer and consultant. Deividas developed web scraping software, set up WordPress websites, and offered freelance IT consulting services.
In 2014, Deividas worked at woumedia as a full-stack developer, designing and developing a student-facing platform. Deividas also served as a lead backend developer at wouworld, maintaining a platform with 30,000 users and implementing an improved recommendation system.
In 2018, Deividas co-founded SoFarSoGood, and in 2019, they co-founded Tame, a SaaS company aimed at easing the stress of event planning. At Tame, they co-founded the company and implemented the initial backend system.
Deividas's most recent role is as the Head of Software Engineering at Nordsense since October 2019, where they oversee software engineering operations.
