Mike Kaeding

CEO at Norhart

Mike Kaeding is currently the CEO of Norhart. Prior to this, they worked as a project manager for Kason, Inc., where they were responsible for the construction of new apartment complexes. Mike successfully completed two 75,000 sq ft 60-unit apartment complex phases and reduced phase costs to less than $3 million, including land. Mike also reduced default rates by more than 50% through new company policies while decreasing vacancy rates to less than 3%.

Kaeding developed a plan for a 4-phase $12 million apartment complex that went through rigorous bank and government review. Mike negotiated reductions in building fees totaling $500,000 dollars. Mike also hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 15 employees. Mike implemented company-wide management practices of one-on-ones, feedback, coaching, and metrics.

Prior to working at Kason, Inc., Kaeding worked as a virtual reality researcher at the University of Minnesota from September 2006 to May 2009.

Mike Kaeding completed a computer science degree at the University of Minnesota, with a mathematics minor and management minor.
