Marc Bright

Marc Bright is an accomplished Silicon Physical Designer currently at Normal Computing since January 2025. Prior to this role, Marc served as the Physical Design Team Lead at Graphcore from September 2021 to January 2025, where responsibilities included leading a team in the physical implementation of AI accelerator SOC and managing the RTL to GDS process. Marc's extensive experience spans over two decades at Broadcom Limited as a Master Engineer, focusing on physical silicon design and managing RTL to layout flows, covering various aspects including Place and Route and timing analysis. Earlier in Marc's career, a teaching role as a Lecturer in VLSI Design & Signal Processing was held at Cardiff University, alongside research in AI for EDA and mobile signal processing. Marc earned a PhD in Electronics and a BEng (Hons) in Electronics from Cardiff University.
