Gary Saarela

Gary Saarela has extensive experience in the mining and mechanical fields, currently serving as a Field Service Technician at Normet Group since May 2024. Previously, Gary worked as an Underground Mechanic at Nevada Gold Mines from July 2023 to May 2024 and held positions as a Field Service Technician at Komatsu Mining and Major Drilling between 2019 and 2024. Additional experience includes roles as an Underground Mechanic at Small Mine Development, LLC, and Barrick Gold Corporation, along with earlier work as a Ranch Hand at Maverick Ranch. Gary's education includes a High School Diploma from Bridger High School, earned in 1991.
