Vesa Pippuri

Vesa Pippuri is an experienced operations planning manager currently employed at Normet Group since November 2022. Previously, Vesa held various leadership positions at VR Group from June 2012 to January 2022, including head of operations and head of planning, overseeing duty planning for over 500 railroad personnel and managing workforce planning and forecasting. Vesa began a career at Itella from November 2004 to June 2012, starting as a postal worker and advancing to planner within the planning and development team of Finland's largest parcel sorting center, where responsibilities included improving sorting processes, analyzing KPIs, and developing ISO guidelines. Vesa holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Logistics from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 2010.
