Cassandra Buzby

Cassandra Buzby, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at New York University, where they continue to expand their PhD work on context-dependent effects through multiple logistic regression. They graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in 2025 from NYU’s Department of Genomics and Systems Biology. Previously, Cassandra gained experience as a biometry consultant at Normunity and served as a science policy scholar in residence with Engineers & Scientists Acting Locally (ESAL). Additionally, they have held various positions, including graduate scientist at AstraZeneca and research assistant at Pfizer and MIT. Cassandra is eager to pursue opportunities in bioinformatics, quantitative genetics, and science policy to positively impact the world.
