Tom Hestnes

Tom Hestnes has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Tom is currently serving as the Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager - Credit at Norselab since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Alfred Berg as a Senior Portfolio Manager, specializing in High Yield, from March 2015 to August 2022.

Before joining Alfred Berg, they worked at SpareBank 1 Markets AS as the Director of DCM Corporate Finance from August 2011 to March 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Arctic Securities as part of the DCM Corporate Finance team from August 2007 to August 2011.

Tom Hestnes also has experience at Swedbank First Securities as the Director of High Yield Corporate Finance from June 2005 to August 2007, and at SEB in Fixed Income Sales & Trading from June 2001 to June 2005.

Their career in the finance industry began at Karl Johan Fonds, where they worked in Equity Capital Markets from August 1997 to June 2001.

Tom Hestnes attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1996 to 2001. During this time, they pursued a Master of Business and Economics degree with a major in Finance. Their field of study was focused on finance in general.
