Thomas Steen, PhD, is the Chief Technology Officer at Nortek Data Center Cooling, bringing over 15 years of experience as a global engineering leader across various manufacturing sectors. They have held significant positions at Honeywell and Ingersoll Rand, where they managed large teams and oversaw product development and engineering activities, achieving notable improvements in quality and cost efficiency. Currently, Thomas mentors engineering students at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte while pursuing advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. With a strong record of innovation, they hold over seven patents and have contributed to five published works in their field.
