Christina Brause is an award-winning investigative data journalist currently serving as an Investigator in Residence at North Data, where they reveal complex stories across Europe using open-source intelligence (OSINT), artificial intelligence, and data analysis. Christina previously held the position of Deputy Investigative Editor at WELT/WELT AM SONNTAG, leading a twelve-member investigative team and contributing to impactful investigations in European security, technology, and defense. They received the European Press Prize in 2023 for the international investigation "Teenage Terrorists" and the Deutscher Journalistenpreis in 2021 for exposing China's covert propaganda networks in Germany. Christina has also completed training in data science and participated in the LEDE Program at Columbia University.
