NEET, an NGO registered as a public charitable trust in Guwahati, Assam was set up in 2009 to explore alternatives in the field of education. Our mission is to create educational cultures that nourish critically aware and creative thinkers. 
We run 4 programmes to realize our vision. Following are our programmes: 
a) NEET’s Community Library and Anubhav Learning Centre: Located at 2 districts of Assam, Kamrup (M) and Sonitpur, our community library and learning centre is a space through which we provide after school academic support on school subjects, conduct regular library sessions and activities to encourage children’s ability of critical thinking and creative expression. 
b) Language Learning Programme in School: It is a teacher support program, here we build teacher’s capacity on teaching language through onsite demonstration classes, workshops and academic sessions in CRCC meetings. 
c) Teacher Engagement Programme:  The objective of this programme is to strengthen teachers’ theoretical and pedagogical knowledge on language teaching learning and setting up vibrant libraries. 
d) Early Childhood Care & Education: Objective of this programme is to provide free access to quality pre-primary education to underprivileged children.
