North East Group (NEG) was founded in 2004 as a result of increasing market demand for professional new building supervision and project management. The company is based in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Europe, and has current activities in Japan, Korea, China and the Philippines. 

Core competences include drafting specifications, Project Management, drawing approval, supervising of new buildings from steel cutting to delivery, including block inspection, painting inspection, machinery and outfitting inspection. Acting as final owners’ observers in cases of vessel resale, where the shipyards normally do not allow supervision by the final owners. Inspection of second-hand vessels for potential buyers.
