North East United is a registered charity (No. 1207130) based in Sunderland, supporting care-experienced young people aged 16–35 across the North East of England.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to become more than their circumstances. Through peer mentoring, community building, advocacy, and practical support, we walk alongside care-experienced individuals as they navigate adulthood — helping them become supported, connected, confident, and truly themselves.
Our work includes one-to-one mentoring and peer support, community events and safe spaces, housing and employment advocacy, furniture donation and house clearance services that fund our charitable work, and partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and community organisations across the region.
Whether you are a care-experienced young person looking for support, an organisation wanting to partner with us, or someone who wants to volunteer or donate — we would love to hear from you.
