Scouts helps young people in the UK develop the skills they need to succeed in life. We believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.

In North Leeds we have over 1400 young people being supported by more than 460 volunteers to develop key life skills every day of the week.

We also offer adventure to adults, and there is wide variety of roles and opportunities available to those who want to get involved. 

Our Chief Scout is Bear Grylls: 'Two things matter in life: following your dreams and looking after your friends. This is what I love about Scouting. It’s about doing great things, loving and enjoying the great adventures and helping others to do the same.'
