Nigel Ewens

Nigel Ewens is an experienced procurement and supply chain management professional with a diverse background spanning over several senior roles. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement at North since July 2023, Nigel is responsible for strategy development, cost management, governance, and procurement administration. Prior roles include Head of Supply Chain & Fleet Transformation at Hyperoptic Ltd., where management of strategic SCM and procurement projects led to successful outsourcing initiatives. As an Interim Indirect Procurement Consultant for Zane Consulting Services Ltd. and AVP Source to Contract at Genpact, Nigel provided strategic sourcing support across UK and European client accounts. Nigel also founded Zane Audit and Consulting Limited, focusing on procurement consultancy, and held significant positions at DXC Technology and Syngenta Asia Pacific, driving compliance, efficiency, and project management in procurement processes. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Manufacturing Management from Cranfield School of Management and various HNC degrees from Farnborough College, along with ISO 9000 Assessor training from the University of Portsmouth.
