Randy Voland is a Senior Advisor for Hypersonic Systems at North Wind, a position they assumed in May 2024 following the acquisition of Calspan's hypersonics and test systems business units. From 2021 to 2024, Randy served as Vice President at Calspan Corporation, focusing on hypersonic test article and experimental system development. They co-founded ACENT Laboratories LLC in 2007, where they held the role of Vice President and Principal Scientist until 2021, engaging in hypersonics and alternative energy technologies. Prior to that, Randy worked as a research engineer at NASA from 1981 to 2006, contributing to numerous successful scramjet-related flight tests.
