Scott Murphy is currently the Chief Engineer at North Wind, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this, they served as Chief Engineer at Leidos from 2022 to 2025, and as Vice President of Economic Development for the Downtown Dayton Partnership from 2014 to 2022. Scott was also the Founding Director of UpDayton from 2008 to 2011 and held the role of Board President at Bike Miami Valley from 2014 to 2020. They began their engineering career as a Mechanical Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where they worked from 2006 to 2014. Scott is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Dayton, having previously earned a Master’s degree in the same field from The Ohio State University.
