Benedict Ong

Benedict Ong has worked at a variety of companies since 2018. Benedict began their career as a Software Research Assistant for Professor Simon Dennis at the University of Melbourne. Benedict then worked as a Software Research Assistant for Professor Phillip McCalman and Dr Reshad Ahsan at the Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Melbourne. In 2018, they were a Full Stack Software Developer Intern at Medipass and a Co-Founder and Full Stack Developer at TutoringTodayAU. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Deloitte and a Software Engineer at Accenture. In 2021, they were a Technical Lead at PeakHour Urban Technologies and in 2020 they were a Technical Lead at Australian Integrated Multimodal EcoSystem (AIMES) and a Mid Level Software Engineer at Localz. Benedict is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Northbeam.

Benedict Ong holds a Master of Information Technology Specialising in Computing (Software Development) from the University of Melbourne, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Benedict also holds a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from the University of Melbourne, where they studied Economics and Finance.
