Dmitriy Ryaboy

Dmitriy Ryaboy currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering at Northbeam, starting in September 2024. Previously, Dmitriy held the position of VP of AI Enablement at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. from May 2023 to July 2024, where responsibilities included leading the AI/ML core team and negotiating major contracts with cloud providers. Dmitriy was the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Software Engineering at Zymergen from May 2016 to January 2024, contributing significantly to the expansion of the software team and the development of innovative solutions in chemical manufacturing. Additional roles include serving as an advisor at PicnicHealth and authoring "The Missing README" with Chris Riccomini while at No Starch Press. Dmitriy holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
