Head of Customer Success / Strategy at Northbeam

Ryan Kovach has a wealth of experience in digital marketing and customer success. Ryan began their career in 2011 as President of the Alma College Union Board, where they developed and executed event plans, hired and managed employees, and increased event attendance. In 2012, they began working as a Medical Transcriptionist for ALR Transcription Services, LLC, quickly understanding any unfamiliar medical industry jargon and consistently managing to be punctual for all daily deadlines. In 2014, they took on the role of Community Manager at Cogo, a startup company that crowdfunds via live streaming, where they worked directly with the CEO, Head of Product, and Lead Developer to change, influence, and create positive impacts on all areas of Cogo. In 2015, they became the Digital Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator at Downtown Market Grand Rapids, where they were responsible for social media strategy, copywriting, and scheduling. In 2016, they took on the role of Data Driven Marketing Specialist at Symposia Labs, where they turned cold audiences into customers by working within all phases of the marketing funnel. In 2017, they started Kovach Digital, a personal S-Corp for 1099 work, where they handled media strategy, graphic designs, and paid social media buying for DTC Brands, as well as providing growth consulting services. Ryan also became a Partner and Marketer at Cut Through Creative, a partnership LLC with a small team of 5, where they handled media strategy, graphic designs, and paid social media buying for DTC Brands. In 2019, they began working as a Paid Social Specialist at Herrmann Digital, where they operated as a two man shop and handled media strategy and media buying for high growth DTC brands. Finally, in 2022, they became the Head of Customer Success and Strategy at Northbeam, where they enabled clients through the entire post-sales process and managed initiatives and priorities.

Ryan Kovach's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Communication from Alma College, obtained between 2009 and 2013, and a High School Degree from Port Huron High, obtained between 2005 and 2009. Ryan also holds several certifications, including a Certified Content Marketing Specialist and Certified Customer Value Optimization Specialist from DigitalMarketer (both obtained in 2017), a Customer Acquisition Specialist from DigitalMarketer (obtained in 2017), an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist from DigitalMarketer (obtained in 2017), an Inbound Certification from HubSpot (obtained in 2015), and an AdWords Certification from Google Partners (obtained in 2015).
