Pete Souchen

As Chief Corporate Officer Pete Souchen brings a dynamic understanding of the cannabis industry having co-founded and operated Northbud Capital since 2017. Northbud Capital is a holding company exclusively invested in pioneering cannabis companies and is a founding investor in NORTHBUD. As COO of Northbud Capital, Pete has gained firsthand experience participating in a multitude of cannabis industry financings, public offerings, and M&A across multiple verticals and various industry segments. In this capacity he has amassed industry contacts spanning North America and abroad. Prior to joining the cannabis boom, Pete earned a decade of business development and financial advisory experience as an entrepreneur having built and sold a financial advisory business as a Certified Financial Planner. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce while majoring in Finance from the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management.
