James Simpson

James Simpson, LPC, serves as the Director of Asset Protection at Northeast Shared Services since September 2022, bringing extensive experience in loss prevention and asset protection. Prior to this role, James was the Director of Loss Prevention at Inserra Supermarkets from June 2021 to September 2022 and held the position of Regional Loss Prevention Manager at CVS Caremark Corporation from February 2005 to June 2021. Earlier in James's career, a significant tenure from 1991 to 2003 was spent as District Field Manager of Loss Prevention at Stop and Shop Supermarket Co. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on Public Safety and Criminal Justice from Central Connecticut State University. Additionally, James possesses an EMT certification from Bristol Hospital Emergency Services and has received advanced firefighter training from Wolcott State Fire School, including FF1, FF2, and Haz-Mat Operations.
